Wasabe Poke Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown basmati rice
  • Sashimi grade salmon (150g for females / 200g for males)
  • 30ml wasabi powder
  • 100g baby Asian leaves
  • 70g pickled ginger
  • 2 spring onions thinly sliced
  • 1 fresh long red chilli
  • ½ avocado chopped
  • 30ml soy sauce
  • 30ml lime juice
  • 15ml olive oil

Method

Cook the rice according to the packet instructions

Roll Salmon in Combined sesame seeds and wasabi powder until coated.

Heat a non stick pan, spray with non stick spray and then cook salmon for 1 min each side till browned but still raw in the center.  Cool for 5 minutes and cut into thin slices

Place bowl with salad leaves, ginger, onion chili and ¼ of and avocado on a plate , top with rice portions (1/3 cup for lady and ½ cup for a male) then add your portion of salmon and dress with dressing.
