Disclaimer: SSA Supplements conducted a controlled 4 week trial made up of 30 participants aged 22 to 58 with a BMI greater than 30 to participate in a weight loss project to reduce overall body weight and to improve physical health. Participants were allocated with a Meal Replacement Shake (Nutri Slim) and an Appetite Control Capsule (Lipo Fast) together with a kilojoule controlled eating plan and encouraged to do 30 minutes of moderate exercise per day. Over the 4 week trial, participants averaged a 5,3kg drop in body weight with the upper limit ranging between 8kg – 12kg. Participants also experienced an average loss of 8cm along the waist and hips.
